CIARAN
REILLY
Ciaran was born on the 4th of November 1991.
He was known for his outgoing and upbeat personality- Ciaran had a natural charm that drew people to him, and his sense of humour was infectious. Ciaran loved his family, football, nights out and going to the gym. He was often the life of the party, and loved to have a laugh, often pulling pranks on his colleagues, friends and teammates.
Although he was outgoing, Ciaran struggled to open up about his feelings and often kept his worries bottled up inside. Ciaran kept a brave face even in the most difficult times, but when lockdown hit and Ciaran lost his job, things got all too much. He struggled with being isolated from friends, the gym and football training. On the 5th of December 2020, Ciaran took his own life.
Ciaran leaves behind a loving family, whose lives have never been the same, including his 3 children- Tyler, Cooper and Willow. In 2021, Ciaran’s dad Kevin and his wife Debbie launched a yearly event in Ciaran’s memory – to focus on something positive that they could put their love and energy into. Each year, they host a football tournament which brings together the local community, whilst fundraising for mental health charities.
