On Sunday 11th May, we welcomed the Hollyoaks stars to Oriam in Edinburgh, for a charity football match with our Select team.
What a day! Our charity match against Hollyoaks was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.
The Hollyoaks team, made up of some of Hollyoaks most esteemed stars, was captained by Nick Pickard, and travelled to Edinburgh for the weekend to support Back Onside. Their support went above and beyond, and we are so grateful – and even more delighted that they have confirmed to do it all again next year!
Andrew Barnsley led the Back Onside team to victory, with the match finishing with a score of 14-3 to Back Onside Select. Back Onside Select defend the trophy for another year!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended the match, raising vital funds for Back Onside. We had a brilliant day and can’t thank our players, staff, attendees, media team and volunteers enough for their support.

Demand continues to increase for Back Onside’s services, but hopefully, with your support at events like our charity match, we can keep our waiting lists to our minimum and support as many individuals as possible.
